AI Sparks is the first step on JKT Technology's Artificial Intelligence pathway — a hands-on, project-based introduction to AI built entirely around PictoBlox's block-based coding environment.

Artificial Intelligence is changing the world, and AI Sparks introduces students to this exciting field through practical, project-based learning. Using PictoBlox's built-in Artificial Intelligence features, learners will discover how machines can recognize faces, classify images, detect objects, understand speech, and learn from data.

Instead of simply learning theory, students build their own AI-powered applications while developing innovation, critical thinking, and future-ready digital skills. By the end of the programme, every learner will design, build, and present an original AI project — with zero prior coding or AI experience required.

Students discover how Artificial Intelligence works, explore its presence in everyday life, and begin creating their first AI-powered applications inside PictoBlox.

Creating Intelligent Applications

This module builds on learners’ understanding of Artificial Intelligence by introducing Machine Learning, gesture recognition, and object recognition. Students will learn how AI models are trained using the Collect → Label → Train → Test process and use PictoBlox's Machine Learning environment to create their own simple AI models.

Through practical, hands-on activities, learners will create interactive applications that respond to hand gestures and recognized objects. They will then apply design-thinking skills to identify a problem, develop an AI-powered solution, and build a working prototype. The module concludes with an AI Project Showcase, where learners demonstrate and confidently explain their completed innovations to classmates, teachers, and family.
