Coding fundamentals Pictoblox

This module introduces learners to the fundamentals of programming using PictoBlox, a beginner-friendly block-based coding platform. Over six lessons, students will explore what programming is, navigate the PictoBlox interface, and gain practical experience creating their first mini-project. Emphasis is placed on interactive, hands-on learning that builds confidence and creativity while establishing a foundation for programming concepts such as commands, sequencing, and events.

This module introduces learners to the creative aspects of programming using PictoBlox. Over six lessons, students will explore designing characters and backdrops, animating sprites, and creating patterns using the pen tool. The module emphasizes hands-on projects that allow learners to combine motion, drawing, and loops to create dynamic and visually engaging mini-projects. By the end of the module, students will be able to design simple animations and geometric drawings, developing both their programming logic and artistic creativity.
